As an academic field in Turkey, insurance and actuarial disciplines have made significant progress in recent years. The number of universities offering four-year insurance and actuarial education at the undergraduate and graduate level has increased leading to academic studies contribute to the scientific knowledge of the sector. The development of a profession can only be made possible if it is carried out together with academic knowledge collaborated with the international platforms. For this purpose, academicians at universities and those who aim to carry out academic studies in the sector should produce studies that can be subject to insurance in many different disciplines such as insurance, actuarial, insurance accounting, insurance mathematics and statistics, risk management, business management, finance and demography, in terms of professional knowledge is of critical importance.

The EAJ Conference is held every two years. The association offers academics and practitioners the opportunity to discuss and present their work. Young researchers are particularly encouraged to present their findings. EAJ focuses specifically on the connections between actuarial theory and practice. In order to serve as a platform for this exchange of ideas, we are happy to have the votes on hosting the fifth of EAJ conferences, organized for the purpose of presenting on an international platform the discussions on published articles highlighting the practical aspects of the article under discussion. The conference will take place in İstanbul- Turkey organized by the Turkish Actuaries Society.

For these purposes, Turkish Actuarial Society is proud to host the "7th "European Actuarial Journal Conference 9-11 September 2026" in Istanbul-Turkey with the participation of international and national experts who are well-known in their fields.

Istanbul is the cultural and financial center which extends both on two continents and hosted many civilizations and empires. Its rich history and aura combining different cultures and its natural beauty makes it one of the uniques metropotitans in the World.
